Today we have the honour of celebrating the remarkable career of James Ridenour. Born in Vancouver and now a proud Melburnian of 24 years, James began his hospitality journey in Australia at the legendary Windsor Hotel Melbourne. Since then, he has led with distinction at InterContinental Melbourne and Next Hotel Melbourne, and today stands as Chief Concierge at 1Hotel Melbourne. Most impressively, James holds the prestigious title of International President of Les Clefs d'Or, representing over 4,000 concierges worldwide — the highest distinction in the profession.

James and his team have been more than partners to Wagen; they have been collaborators and visionaries. Their feedback and expertise helped us refine and evolve the Contemporary Bellboy Trolley — shaping it into a symbol of elegance, safety, and functionality that truly elevates the arrival experience for guests while supporting staff with ease and style.
